Instructions to Authors

Comprehensive guide for manuscript preparation and submission

ABCOAD Sci-Tech Journal covers various aspects of Science, Technology, Agriculture and Basic Sciences. We welcome Review articles, Original research reports, and Short communications.

Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts should be in Standard English, double-spaced on A4 paper with 0.5 cm margins.

  • Length: Max 15 pages (including tables/figures). Extra pages attract charges.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt preferred.

Title: Concise, bold capital letters, centered. Scientific names in italics.

Authors: SURNAME followed by Initials (e.g., BARI, A. S.).
Include full affliation addresses and indicate the Corresponding Author with an asterisk (*), phone number and email.

Abstract: Max 250 words. Must cover Objectives, Methodology, Major finds and Conclusion and possible recomendation. Avoid vague phrases.

Keywords: 3 – 5 words at the bottom of the abstract for indexing purposes.

Introduction: Background, purpose, and short literature review.
Materials and Methods: Detailed, repeatable procedures and statistical methods.
Results: Presented clearly using Tables, Graphs, and Figures. Do not combine with Discussion.
Discussion: Interpret results, compare with literature, and draw inferences.
Conclusion: Summary of contributions and recommendations.

Use the author–date (non-numbered) referencing style in the text (e.g., Lawan, 2024; Bari & Khamisu, 2023).

Author(s). (Year). Article title. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), Pages.

Examples:
Lawan, B. (2024). Digital solutions for market-based businesses in Nigeria. ABCOAD Sci-Tech Journal, 5(2), 45–56.

Bari, A. S., & Khamisu, S. (2023). Web technology adoption among small-scale traders. Journal of Information Systems in Africa, 4(1), 30–42.
